“Make Me Feel” – Janelle Monáe

It’s a rewrite of “Kiss” by Prince down to the blues-y funk chord progression, but you may as well steal from the best!  Good for Janelle Monáe because she’s always been a great performer and a tremendously cool person, but she’s had a lack of solid, undeniable pop songs that stick with you. Admittedly, this one sticks with you because you already liked it. #issabop
